I would like to let everyone in Newport know what an exceptional and professional job Elaine Southwick did for Tom and me in regards to the recent purchase of our new home.

Back in October I asked Elaine to help represent us in the offer on a home we were interested in buying.  Without knowing what she was about to get into, she very nicely agreed.  She expertly and confidently guided us through all of the paperwork and helped us craft an appropriate offer.

Elaine saw to it that we did everything we were asked to do and that all documents were in order, and ensured that we documented everthing in writing.  Unfortunately, due an issue created by others, we were forced to involve a lawyer.

Though this all, Elaine kept a cool head and more importantly, helped me to keep mine.  She listened whenever I called often, and held my hand when events were turning sour.  If Elaine hadn't stayed on top of others, we may not have had the closing.

Elaine is the consummate professional.  It is easy to see why she was awarded the Realtor of the Year.  Tom and I both will not hesitate to recommend Elaine to anyone.
